Is This Right for You?

When a Business Expansion Study Makes Sense

An expansion study is the right tool when you're ready to grow beyond your current territory and want certainty before committing resources.

📍

You're Ready for a Second Location

Your current market is strong and you want to expand, but you're not sure which direction offers the best opportunity without cannibalizing your existing business.

🗺️

You Serve a Wide Area But Have No Local Presence

Many home services companies list dozens of cities on their website for SEO. A satellite office with a real address unlocks a Google Business Profile — the #1 driver of new local calls.

🔍

You Want to Know the Competition Before Committing

Every candidate market in our study includes a competitor density assessment so you know whether you're entering an open market or a crowded one.

🏠

You Want to Chase the Right Homes

Not all neighborhoods are equal. We surface areas where housing age, home values, and owner occupancy align with peak demand for your services — so your trucks go where they'll win.

📐

You Need a Specific Office Address

A P.O. box won't get you on Google Maps. Our study finds private offices with dedicated suite numbers — the real, verifiable address your Google Business Profile requires.

You Want Answers Fast

Traditional market research takes weeks. Our proprietary research engine delivers a polished, data-backed report in a fraction of the time — so you can act while the opportunity is there.

What You Receive

Everything in Your Expansion Study

A complete, polished report covering five ranked candidate markets — with enough depth to act on any of them immediately.

5 Ranked Candidate Markets

The top five expansion territories, 20–25 miles from your current location(s), ranked by a composite score of housing market potential and competition.

Housing Market Analysis

U.S. Census Bureau data for each area: total housing units, median home values, housing age distribution, owner-occupancy rates, and median household income.

10-Mile Radius Market Sizing

Beyond ZIP-level data, we analyze all housing within a 10-mile radius of each recommended office address for an accurate picture of your reachable market.

Competitor Intelligence

For each market, we assess the number of active local competitors, whether any dominant incumbents are entrenched, and national franchise presence.

Private Office Listings

3–5 real, priced office listings per market — each with a suite address, monthly cost, lease terms, phone number, and direct URL. Ready for a Google Business Profile.

Multi-Office Expansion Strategy

Analysis of the best two- and three-office combinations from your top five, including coverage overlap calculations and a recommended opening sequence.

Market Coverage Maps

Visual maps showing each candidate territory's 10-mile service radius, plus a combined map illustrating how a two-office strategy covers the broader region.

Executive Summary & #1 Recommendation

A clear recommendation for your best first expansion market, with a plain-language rationale explaining why it ranks above the alternatives.

The Process

How We Build Your Study

Our proprietary research engine works through a rigorous, reproducible process — every finding is traceable to its source data.

We start by reviewing your business website and gathering key details: the services you offer, your current location(s), and the markets you already serve. This context shapes how we evaluate and narrate each candidate territory.
Using proprietary geocoding logic, we systematically identify every candidate territory within the target radius of your existing location(s). This process is exhaustive — no areas are missed or estimated from memory.
For each candidate territory, we collect current housing market data across multiple dimensions: market size, home values, housing age, occupancy type, and household income. All data is retrieved fresh for each study — no recalled or cached figures.
Each area is scored across five dimensions using our proprietary ranking model. Scores are always relative to your specific candidate pool — so rankings reflect your actual competitive geography, not generic benchmarks. The top areas advance to the next stage.
For each top candidate area, we research private office listings across multiple sources. Every listing must have a dedicated suite address and a private, lockable office — virtual offices and shared hot desks are excluded. Listings are verified for current pricing, address, and contact details.
For each of the final recommended markets, we assess the local competitive landscape: the number of active competitors, the presence of established market leaders, and whether national franchise brands have a foothold. Each area receives a Low / Medium / High competition rating.
All findings are assembled into a professional report with an executive summary, per-area market narratives, competitor tables, office listings, and a clear ranked recommendation. The report is written in plain language so you can act on it immediately.
Before the report leaves our hands, a second-pass quality audit verifies that every data point, ranking, and office listing is consistent and accurate. We check for gaps, anomalies, and anything that doesn't hold up to scrutiny — so you receive a report you can trust.
Your completed expansion study is delivered as a polished, ready-to-use report — no jargon, no data dumps. Everything you need to make a confident decision about where to grow next.
